Large picture window in living room looks across the deck and onto the lake. This room has a large, comfortable sofa and chair. There is a TV (with cable), a DVD player and stereo system. The sliding glass door opens to the inviting new deck.  Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a pillowtop mattress - with a direct view of the water. The far corner of the room has a reading chair and small table. There is a TV and DVD player for your enjoyment.  Queen Bedroom
Sleep in the comfy queen sized bed, under a skylight and looking out to the large, old evergreens. This room was an addition in the 60s, so the bricks you see in the photo form the "outside" of the fireplace. We enclosed the lower half of the chimney with drywall and fresh paint. Do you have a baby? Our portable crib can open up easily in this room - and is located immediately next to the master bedroom so you can be close. Dining Room
Eat a family meal in the semi-formal dining room with a white brick fireplace, large overhead skylight, and a 6 person antique cherry table. This centrally located room gives you a view of the water and you can watch the action in the rest of the house and the front yard with all the tall trees. (No fires in the fireplace, please.)  Kitchen
The large skylight brings cheer even on the rainiest of Seattle winter days. It comes well stocked and ready for you to cook. With numerous pots and pans, 8 place settings, and a selection of food staples this kitchen makes cooking easy. (Examples of the staples include: spices, oil, condiments, coffee, tea etc.). Small appliances include: toaster, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, and hand mixer. There is a propane BBQ on the deck for your use. Bringing kids? That can be hectic, for a reasonable fee let us know what food you want on hand and we can do some shopping before you arrive.  Main bathroom
A full bathroom is on the main level near the master bedroom. The average person spends over 35 minutes in the bathroom per day, so its a good thing it has a view of the lake. An abundant amount of white tile and a convenient wall-mounted ironing board await you in this bathroom - exuberantly remodeled by the previous homeowner. Basement Rooms
A futon sofa and second bathroom await you on the quiet ground-level. The large picture window and ground-level door gives you direct access to the yard and lake. We have recently added a small desk with a desktop computer in this room, for your use. The laundry room (with front loading washer and electric dryer) are located in the basement, as well. The bathroom on this level is equiped with sink, toilet and shower. |
